If you are on a PC and your view drifts continuously in one direction, or your avatar moves on its own without any input from you, a game controller or other connected input device may be sending input to VRChat.
Please try unplugging or disabling any input devices or game controllers you are not using, including:
- Xbox controllers
- DirectInput controllers
- HOTAS (hands-on throttle-and-stick) and joystick controllers
- Virtual joystick or gamepad emulation software
- Other non-standard input devices
These can all interfere with VRChat's input methods in some cases.
If you have a 3Dconnexion device, you may need to disable its software before starting VRChat. The virtual joystick the software creates can interfere with your input even while the device itself is not in use.
