Badges are icons on your Profile that let you show off achievements, events you've been a part of, and other cool stuff.

We've prepared an FAQ regarding some common Badges below that should answer some of the most common questions we've received from the community.

Account Age badge

📆 What is the Account Age badge?

The Account Age badge shows how long it's been since you registered your account.
Note that this may not line up with when you started using VRChat on other accounts.

⤵️ When will my Account Age badge increment?

Your badge will increment each year since your account was registered, staring at the 1 year mark.

♻️ Can I transfer my Account Age badge from one account to another?

No. The Account Age badge is associated with the date the account was registered.
When merging a platform account (like a Steam, Meta, or Pico account) to a VRChat account, the older of the two registration dates will be used for the merged account.

💾 I started playing VRChat earlier than my Account Age badge shows. Can I get this changed?

The Account Age badge is associated with the date the account was registered, and VRChat Support is unable to assist with requests to change an account's registration date.

VRC+ Tenure badge

🗓️ What is the VRC+ Tenure Badge?

The VRC+ Tenure Badge shows how many months you've spent subscribed to VRC+.

😔 If I unsubscribe from VRC+, will I lose my VRC+ Tenure Badge Progress?

No - you won't lose progress.
The badge won't show if you don't currently have VRC+, but if you resubscribe, you'll be at the same number of months or years you were before.

⏱️ My VRC+ Tenure Badge isn't updating immediately after my subscription renewed - when will it update?

The VRC+ Tenure Badge should update within 30 days of a milestone. If you think it's failing to update, give it a couple weeks, then reach out to VRChat Support.

📦 Can I transfer my VRC+ Tenure badge from one account to another?

No. The VRC+ Tenure badge is specific to each account.
When merging a platform account (like a Steam, Meta, or Pico account) to a VRChat account, the sum total of all gifted months will be used.

📋 What VRC+ Tenure Badges are available?

VRC+ Tenure Badges are available in the following increments: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 1+ years, with each year after the first incrementing the badge by 1 year.

VRC+ Gift badge

🎁 What is the VRC+ Gift Badge?

The VRC+ Gift Badge shows how many months of VRC+ you've gifted to other players. Thanks for your support!

🫳 Do direct gifts and gift drops both count toward the VRC+ Gift badge?

Yes - both will count toward your VRC+ Gift Badge.

📋 What VRC+ Gift Badges are available?

The badges start at 1, 5, 10, 20, and so on. You can find a full list of badge increments on our Wiki.

📦 Can I transfer my VRC+ Gift badge from one account to another?

No. The VRC+ Tenure badge is specific to each account.

Early Supporter badge

🐱 What is the Early Supporter Badge?

The Early Supporter badge indicates an account that purchased or was gifted VRC+ before January 31, 2023.

🤔 Can I still get the Early Supporter badge?

The Early Supporter badge is no longer available, as it was only available to people who supported VRChat through VRC+ when it first launched.

📦 Can I transfer my Early Supporter badge from one account to another?

No. The Early Supporter badge is specific to each account.
When merging a platform account (like a Steam, Meta, or Pico account) to a VRChat account, the Early Supporter badge will be kept if it's present on either account.

Other Badges

You may see other badges on user's profiles, like the Pride Supporter, VRChat
