Avatars are how users represent themselves in VRChat. Whether custom-made or publicly available, everyone wears one. Some avatars may not appeal to you, and you have complete control over how or if they’re displayed.
Avatar visibility follows your Safety Settings by default. You can adjust how a user’s avatar appears via the Quick Menu, or hide specific avatars globally so you never see them, regardless of who is wearing them. Note that if multiple users upload copies or versions of the same avatar, hiding or adjusting one will not affect the others.
